Uhh...okay, yeah.
I have T-Mobile as my provider.
I want to get this phone

That phone is for T-Mobile only.
However, they make this phone
http//www.nokiausa.com/phones/6126
That phone is for Cingular only.
Is there ANY way that I could use the 6126 for T-Mobile, instead of the 6133? They're basically the same phone, I just like the look of the 6126 better. ^_^

It took me 2 looks to realize the difference. I have no idea about your question, I am leaning toward No. But is it REALLY that important?

Get the 6126 unlocked...
check out ebay or google for local unlocking centers...
THEN, when you get the phone and you wanna use internet/mms, T-mobile has a feature that sends you the internet configuration FOR t-mobile...b/c the 6126 will have a CINGULAR configuration...

I've heard there are methods of unlocking phones yourself, and is it legal?

sure you can unlock your phone. But 1) If you do it with a program, the program will cost money. 2) If you do it by yourself, you risk the chance of screwing up the memory during the "flashing" and in some cases would nvr get it to work again. It's almost better to just purchase unlocked unless you are really crunched with cash.

Just dont try and do it yourself, because if it gets blocked then they cant help you.

Try it once and if the code they gice you is incorrect STOP and i will find the right site that did it for me. DOnt try again because after three incorrect attemps your ohone is blocked.
I have the link someehere because i remember i was so thrilled i donated money to their site, so it should be in my paypal records. (you dont have to donate, but it would be a nice thing to do.
