This national championship game proves how powerful the SEC is. LSU demolishes Notre Dame and Flordia is laying a whoopin on Ohio State. The entire SEC conference should be in the Top 25.

OSU is getting the shit kicked out of them.

Overrated or not, they still beat UM.

And I don't think the entire SEC should be in the top 25, but they are definitely the best conference in the nation in football.

Notre Dame is not good first of all. They have absolutely no secondary, and it was shown all year long. Yeah they won a lot of games b/c they played Army, Navy, Air Force, and The Coast Guard. Honestly I think LSU is better than Florida.

OSU is much better than what they played tonight. I really think we are going to see the Big 10 moving to a conference championship game w/ in 5 years, b/c the layoff killed Michigan and OSU. Neither one played up to their potential.

I concur with with ILoveToys. I just wish my Sooners and Mustangs did better this year /.

Big Ten was 2-0 against the SEC in bowl games leading up to this game.

Wisconsin 17 Arkansas 14
Penn State 20 Tennessee 10

That's just ignorant.

And yes I'm pissed.

Notre Dame? Are you serious? Dude, Notre Dame is soooo overrated. Who gives a rip of LSU beat Notre Dame because if LSU played USC, they would have got spanked.

Oh and Notre Dame is screwed next year when BQ is gone. Sucks to be a ND fan right about now.

If LSU played USC, it would be no contest. Just like every other conference in college football, USC plays HORRIBLE teams through out the season, and wins one or two big games and they are suddenly the best in football. LSU lost to Flordia IN FLORDIA, and had a 2 BIG mistakes (muffed punts) on a neutral field, the outcome would be different.

Nevermind the fact they are signing Jimmy Clausen, the highest rated player in the country. Oh, and a bunch of other people.

I'm not an ND fan, but to think they won't have good recruits coming in is just stupid.

Good good. I hope ND improves somewhat next year. The team would be so much better with some secondary. They really need all the secondary they can get to improve. I still love ND though. D

yea, they did beat UM.

But USC still killed UM - so they definitely didn't deserve a shot at the BSC Championship game.

I think the slaughter UM went through had to do with the nearly 2 months off that Big 10 teams had if they played any January bowls.

LSU and USC should have been in the Rose Bowl, Michigan and ND deserved to play since they are both shitty.

True, Notre Dame's football program is like USC's, where everyone wants to go there and I think that's ND's biggest lead over other colleges.

We'll see about Clausen and if he can deliver as a Freshmen QB..

What's funny is that he's from Souther California (USC territory).. I guess he'd have no chance as being a USC QB though.. Smart choice on his part.
