I can't wait either, I was waiting for someone to post one of these. I'd say the new iPod is coming out. Did you read that article on Digg about a guy who supposedly works for a shipping company Apple used? They said they had a bunch of smaller boxes that weighed like 5 pounds each so it's something smaller but that could be so many things. Mac Mini, software, iPods, phones, mice, etc..

Why does everyone hope so much for a new ipod....I mean really...you can hold more songs than you'll listen to most of the time, and do you guys really use it for more than music. I hardly even use my ipod.

it's just like people that get the latest phone everytime it comes out. At the end of the day they all probably fit in your pocket and talk to someone fine. Some people just like gadgets, or having the latest must have toy.

because i am sick of the same ipod that was out for 2 years already. All they did was change the battery. I want a better one with a bigger screen and a better battery life for video. Ipods come short as video players. Apple dominates the mp3 market, so let them make a nice pvp/mp3 player. D I still have my original 4th gen 20gb back when freepay was gratis. I hope they do some nice updates, but is highly unlikely since they updated the line of ipods with the new nanos and a slightly better video ipod. Who knows apple is full of surprises.

EDIT oh yeah, same what justin said. I like having the latest tech. D Plus I need to upgrade, so it would be nice to get a new one.

GOD DAMN IT!!! I wanted an iPod... and this phone is EXACTLY the way I wanted it to look and operate (minus the phone)! It's incredible! I hate it! Have you seen the way the album art is displayed? It's just like iTunes... I love everything about it... but don't want a phone and 8GB is certainly not enough. I hope they release an iPod later that looks exactly like it...

1. 30-100GB HD
2. better battery life
3. def. will be unlock
4. a hack of a lot better camera
etc.........
I don't think I will shell out $600 for a product that will be consider "old" in half a year. With the rate apple products are being updated, theres a good chance a better version will come out sooner than expected. Just watch when Job's announce a 2nd gen iphone in Macworld 2008. lol
