Interesting Ebook...

Anyone know of an interesting ebook? I'm looking to read something on the trip back from the Gator Bowl and an ebook would be great. lol (As nerdy as that sounds; I'm desperate) It doesn't have to be an actual story or anything but maybe something that I won't feel like I wasted 12 hours in the car. Links would be great and karma will be awarded. )

If you want to read something interesting and even useful --
[bcf8c9001ab]Body Language How to Read Others' Thoughts by Their Gestures[/bcf8c9001ab]
Justinag06 recommended the book to me a long time ago and I've never gotten around to finishing it because it's on my old computer. I need to get it on my new computer. x
I'll just re-download it from oink. It's extremely interesting and you'll totally notice other people's body languages after you read the book. I even noticed that I did A TON of those things mentioned in the book.

Could you please host that on rapidshare.de or something where I can download it? ) I'm at a hotel and I agreed to this major terms and conditions contract that my activity is being monitored so I really don't want to go on a torrent and have a bunch of seeding things and stuff. lol TIA and +KMA! Also, any other books?

It was a decent book. I thought some of the gestures were a little exaggerated along with their meanings. Often times when a man or women crosses there legs it doesn't mean a thing in today's society, IMO. Also, I thought the point about how people usually tend to point one of their feet at someone they find attractive is not "around" today. At least I've never heard or seen it.

True, some of them seemed weird to me as well and I didn't think I even did a lot of them but I proved myself wrong on a few occasions. One time when I lied I immediately covered my mouth without even noticing until a few seconds later.
Anyway, I'll PM you with it tjwor. ;)

I was thinking about that a little more today and I think that a lot of the female gestures may not mean the same thing today, but I think the feet pointing to the attractive one may hold some truth.
It doesn't have to be someone they are attracted to, it can be the center of attention or the most interesting person. People will subconsciously point there feet to the person of interest while they want to talk or pay more attention to the person.

This is really bothering me, when all of you count from one to five with your fingers, which finger do you start with (represents one, Chapter One reference)??
and mention your background.
I start with my thumb (which I fit the pattern that I'm Italian), but I have a really hard time believing that other countries start with their index finger for "one", for me it just seems illogical....

For me, starting from the thumb makes even more sense than just being taught that way to do it. It's also in linear order from left to right (or right to left). That's the way I justify it..... shrug

It feels primitive to me to start with my thumb. For some reason I just feel like a caveman doing it. I'm not saying that people who start with their thumbs are stupid but I just feel weird doing it that way.

Meh, I found the beginning pretty good but then it dragged on. Maybe because I had already read/known about the same observations they wrote about.
