Gears of War MLG Tournament! Looking for teamates!

Major League Gaming is hosting an online tournament for Gears of War starting January 9th. GameStop is sponsoring a $5,000 prize pool, with $4,000 going to the first place team and $1000 going to the second place team. The rules are on the site but basically its teams of 4, Execution, on a limited selection of maps.

I'll play but I gotta start practicing again. Most just getting used to the camera control because I've been playing so many games with inverted x-axes.

I'm kind of interested but there are people who play almost 24/7 who are gonna take the cake here. If we would want to win we'd have to play like crazy, which I'm trying to do less of. P

Hey do you guys want to practice a bit today? I feel a little skeptical about wasting 12.99 after what j430 said but that can change! All 4 of us need to play together today.

evidently the patch will allow for team v team easy match setups so we shall see on monday

That'd be cool if they put in a level system like Halo 2. So if you win a bunch of ranked matches you advance in rank up to a new level.
