use an exactoknife + superglue to do a swap of the serial numbers on the xboxes.

go to an online museum archive/preservation store and get this shit, I forget what it's called, but it's this really volatile oil that will remove any adhesive you want...and when the oil dries, the back of the sticker is still sticky. They'll NEVER know, and it's safe around electronics. Just don't inhale it, eat it, or set it aflame.

like...i took these hundred year old documents and had to remove stuck on stickers, papers, and photos from them, and it took them right off. Certainly it'll work perfectly against a plastic xbox.

Alcohol works, but this works better.

Although, it'll run you $7 a bottle.

yes it's fraudulent, but Best Buy is a fraudulent company. They deserve you to take a dump in an empty xbox 360 box.

I would use a product called "bestine" its an odorless, colorless, adhesive remover that evaporates quickly. You would then need some spray mount to re-stick it, but bestine will do the trick

just try to peel it off w/ exactoknife the best you can.

Dont forget the hair dryer!!

That is KEY.

It kinda wears away the stickiness for a little while.

So exacto knife + hair dryer for removal n superglue for swap FTW!!11!!!!1one!!

Yeah... I would not listen to these people telling you to use knives and superglue, or hairdryers. Use the Bestine, or the other stuff if you can find it. I have no knowledge with this stuff, but it sounds awesome. If I could find the first product mentioned which leaves the stick, I would certainly buy it.

i just went straight thug style for my old xbox 2 years ago. Just the exacto and superglue. I bought the new one cash, and when i returned it, i filled in the return form w/ a bunch of bs.

and i also forgot the power and av cable in the box, they didn't notice. (walmart)

Just thought i'd quote this so you can see it again. That would suck if you got caught. Who knows if a bunch of others are switching like this is and they are looking to crack down on it??

Plus i swear to God this shit comes back to you, that xbox is gonna fall off the shelf one day and smash your cell phone or something ?
