And unneeded excessive force. Mine have yet to break, though I requested two replacement straps for both my Wii Remotes for safety precautions, plus the new straps look thicker.

You do realize the strap breaks not from it showing its capabilities of holding heavy objects, but because of the motion and force that causes it to rip off. ;)

I own a wii and I had some guys over to try it out the first weekend. We were playing Wii bowling and my friend let go of the wii mote as if he was letting go of the bowling ball, strap broke and wii mote slammed into the wall behind my tv.

There is a big difference between the strap holding a heavy weight and it being pulled tight very quickly. We learned about this if first year physics, a string pulled slowly can pull a lot of weight but when that same sting is pulled quickly when attached to a 2 pound weight it will break easily.

Nintendo made new ones? How would I go about getting them. I haven't broke mine, but I don't trust my friends/family/people/retards.
