So its finals week for me here at my college. Late night, pots after pots of coffee and finding ways to deal with the stress of finals week.
Here I am up at 2 AM trying to get myself to study for my 8AM exam tomorrow.
How do you all deal with finals week? What are some of your studying strategies? Where do you study? How do you deal with the stress?

i dont' study, but I do have 2 papers and 4 quizes to take by 10 tomorrow... just trying to pull myself to do the papers for now shrug

2AM ? Pfft, pansy. I was up to almost 5am studying for my 8am chemistry final, and I tend to not worry about tests because if I start to worry then I can't focus.
Usually I study for tests at the library, but last night the 2 guys next door came here and we studied together. We looked over tests and quizzes we have already taken, but I would've liked to have started studying earlier so I could've reviewed my recitation notes that covered the newer material.
My advice would be to devote at least 3 days to studying for a particular exam, so you don't go crazy trying to figure out what you should study. The first day go through your old tests, quizzes, and homework assignments(if they're collected) and just find your weak areas and write them down.
Once you've done that, move on to your next exam and do the same thing. The second day you should read notes (or the book itself) and look over topics that you feel you need to work on. Then get your old exams and redo them or do assignments from your textbook similar to the exam questions. Do as many as you feel is necessary, but don't overwhelm yourself by trying to study for the whole test in that one day. I'd say do half of the hw assignments/tests on the 2nd day and just finish up on the 3rd day.
This is what I had planned on doing for chemistry, but that obviously didn't work out lol. Oh well, I still have a calc exam on Wednesday, so I might as well follow my own advice shrug

HELL WEEK IS UPON US!!!!!
....just cram like hell the night before.
read books (or most of it) in one day or less
read the chapters you know on the tests
hope the final is not cumulative.
fuck sleep, you have a months break for that after finals...

Advice from my spanish teacher Study different verbs (ar/ir) in different places so you remember where you were when you think back. Now somebody tell me how to apply that to anything besides spanish shrug

Deal w/ the stress??? I loved finals week....I had to show up to each class once and take a test....Man....If I could go back to college and my biggest stress was finals week.....That would be nice...

Finite tomorrow. Not looking foward to it because it is cumulative so I have to remember stuff from the beginning of the semester. It is 322 AM and I have it at 8. I'm not going to go to sleep though. Then tomorrow (14th) I have my last two exams so I probably won't get much sleep until those are over and I have to work tomorrow including work Christmas party after I get off. So little time... Monster and Adderalll are my friends. 8)
