My mom wants me to get her an anti-aging cream that has the ingredient retin-a, for Christmas. I don't really know anything about these products, and I'll be buying the product on Amazon (giftcard FTW) so I can't go into some beauty shop and ask for advice (not to mention I don't trust them).
If anyone uses or has a girlfriend/wife/sister/female that uses skin care that can suggest a product (up to $100) with the ingredient retin-a, I'd appreciate any information I could get on it.

I think Retin-A is a brand name for a prescription acne treatment, of which the active ingredient is tretinoin. Lemme Google for a few minutes, but I'm pretty sure tretinoin is available only by prescription due to the side effects (it makes your skin significantly more susceptible to UV damage).

Retin-A will literally peel a layer off your skin. My mom actually uses it as as well once in a while and it makes your skin peel like mad. Unfortunately she did get it from prescription for both her and my old acne breakouts.

I only use Dermalogica skin care - Dermologica FTW - it's worth lookin at on Amazon but it's expensive, but one of the best.

Dermologica has retin-a, right?
And Amazon seems to have a bunch of their products; any suggestions for specific products? Price isn't an issue.
