I need to get the faceplate and hardrive off of my 360. I don't want to break the faceplate if I pry it off so I'm asking here. I also need the hardrive off. I've googled both but got nothing. There is a button on top of the 360 next to the hardrive but it doesn't make the hardrive loose or anything, same with the faceplate. +KMA to whoever can tell me! Thanks!

If you've never taken your hard drive off then it can be a little tricky. Just get a flat end screwdriver and gently pry it open. Be careful not to scratch the silver paint though. Then for the faceplate, just stick your fingernails/fingers at the bottom of the faceplate and just pull gently.

I've taken about 10 360's completely apart, so what do you need to know exactly?
To take the faceplate off, its basically a matter of ripping it off. Put your thumb in the usb flap on one side, and on the other dig your finger nails in between the faceplate and the case, and just tug both sides.
The button should make the hdd pop up, and then you just take it off. It doesn't pop up?

No, but which button are you talking about? The one on the top is the only one I see. It doesn't do anything. The faceplate got off fine but not the HDD ?

That top button is the release button. Try pressing it and pulling up on the HD.
