Wouldn't someone from NYC want to go to a NYC store, rather than go upstate?

Upstate? It's literally a 15 minute train ride from Grand Central. It's easier because everyone goes to all the city stores. This one has less people

You're like 15 years old and you're inviting unknown people from the internet to come spend the night with you?

Oh, I don't have to ride the subway. It's not a subway ride, it's a metro north train, which takes you to the suburbs 8)
I'm getting a ride with my 32 inch HDTV

I am so done with the Black Friday camp-out thing.
Last year, I was outside Circuit City (on Queens Blvd in NYC) at around 2-3am with only a handful of people ahead of me. However, once the doors opened at 6am, everyone rushed to the front and they had to close the store up with only 2-3 people inside (they were afraid it would get violent). After trying to get everyone to step back for over 45 minutes, and no one cooperating, the managers called in the police. They showed up in eight or nine cars and it took them over half-an-hour to completely clear the area with megaphones (which weren't that effective). At one point, they drove a police car right into the center of the crowd to get everyone to clear.
I was really pissed that I had wasted so much time for a stupid laptop (I've gotten several $400 deals online since then). Taking last year's experience into consideration, and quickly looking through some of this year's ads, I really don't think it's worth going this year. Most of the prices are pretty close to what you can find online right now if you look around (minus the headache, the cold and the boredom).

Well, they pass out the little tickets for the door buster deals which garuntee it for you.
