Anyone play this? I don't play any instrument at all and I think it's very addicting and fun. I borrowed a friend's PS2 and bought the $85 guitar and game today just so I could play. lol

I just played it last night -- me and my friend 5 star everything --- but I'm only on hard/medium & the occasional expert, he can 5 star almost all the songs on expert... shock

Does this actually teach you how to play a guitar? I've been thinking about getting better with my guitar that I spent $300 on a few years ago. lol

According to my friend who plays guitar, if you don't know how to play guitar it doesn't help. But if you know how to play guitar fairly well, it will help you a lot with your finger agility once you get up to the hard/expert songs.

Yeah I read about that last month, most likely we will get that one too, lol. I jsut worry about TAC making guitars for the 360 since they dont like third part anything.

That's what the GameStop guy told me but I said I couldn't wait to play so I'm just going to get it now. lol I can't wait until they have it for the 360 though, I'm definitely going to buy it.

If you like Rock music or just guitar in general, you will love this game. It's a music rhythm game to licensed (mostly good) music where you play the guitar/bass notes. The solos can get ridiculous and it's just awesome because of the controller. Check it out here

You don't necessarily have to like the guitar nor rock music to even like the game. I've never really tried to play a real guitar and I really enjoy this game. It's just fun to play because you have to hit certain buttons at certain times and it's all color coordinated. It's fun to have like a tournament or challenge your friends.

I am a big rock fan, especially classic rock when the amount of amazing guitar solos was just astounding. It's so hard waiting for the 360 version...I am so tempted to get it for PS2 but eh, Gears should keep my busy for a while...

GHII doesn't work on PS3. When you start up a PS3 with a PS/PS2 game in it, you are required to press the Playstation button in the center of the controller. Since the GHII Guitar SG controller doesn't have that button, it doesn't work. shrug
And it's coming out for the Xbox 360, matt.
