Anyone listen to the Kooks? I can't stop jamming their cd. I must've heard it 20 times so far. I think they're big overseas, but I haven't heard 1 snippet about them here in Texas. If you like that British indie sound, def give them a listen. Its just a matter of time until they're big here in the states.

Good old British music shining through again. They're awesome. You should listen to BBC Radio 1 online - then you'll hear some real british music ;)

They are, but I can't find a song that [i964f7d2754]isn't[/i964f7d2754] really good. Are they on the radio where you are TSJ? And if so, what songs are the "hits"? I imagine Ooh La is one.

Nah I don't listen to the radio but the only stations in this shitehole are metal/rock, country, soft-rock, pop and rap. Nothing for alternative, indie music. (

My borther back in Scotland says that The Kooks are fricken huge over there and he's getting tired of them. He's into the same kinda music as me but doesn't like The Kooks and is annoyed by the guy's voice.

Maybe I should start a radio station for good music. D

I have both their UK release and their US release. I visited UK last year for summer break and while I was in Edinburgh they had a concert that I attended. Between them and the Arctic Monkeys, they are my favorite band.

Oh, don't get me started on the Arctic Monkeys, and for that matter the Strokes. Great bands. D

Yeah, I don't listen to much radio either, but 1 of the channels ventures out occasionally and plays indie/less popular new music.

Thats what I thought, I heard they were huge elsewhere in the world. The guy's voice is the only thing that kinda irks me a bit, but just certain parts.

Do it!
