Replica Watches Thread

Has anyone purchased a replica watch from www.trustytime.com before? They are replica watches just like the real thing I think. Is it worth the $200 for a fake?

Is it worth it? It looks cool and how cool would it be to say you have a Rolex?

I would never pay $200 for a replica. They say its a "quality" replica, but they are basically the same as the one sold on the streets. I bought a fake rolex from street vendors once and it looked similar to the one shown in your link. I wear it everyday and it has been working for about a year. I bought it for about $10.

I don't think you realize the quality of some replicas. ;)

Not all replicas are worth $10. There are some very high quality replicas that are well worth $200, better made than some "genuine" brands that sell for that much or more.

Personally I'm not a fan of replicas. I just feel embarrassed trying to pass off myself as wearing a "real" Rolex or whatever. I guess if I wanted a Rolex that bad, I'd just buy one, but I'm perfectly happy with the $500 Seiko Chrono I'm wearing. ;)

My watch is a Timex, cost about $40, and tells the time. I'm happy.

I'm really leaning towards the yachtmaster as it looks classy as hell, alittle bling yet sophisticated.

I believe I mentioned this once before... Anyways... Whatever you do, don't fall for the bullshit they feed you at idealwatches.com, replicacenter.com or goreplicas.com... They sell their "Genuine Grade 1 Swiss Replica" for $1,000+ and it's a bunch of bullshit... There's no such thing as a Grade 1, Grade A, Grade AAA, Geniune Grade, etc.

Josh and Andrew are the top two dealers and you can get that 2007 Rolex Submariner LE from Andrew (TrustyTime) for $188 + shipping...

I'm about to buy the gold DayDate for my grandfather from Josh (Perfect-Clones)... I'll keep you all posted.

I swear, even if I was a millionaire, I would get a replica rolex... Call me a cheap bastard, but I think $10,000 for a watch is crazy, no matter how rich you are.

-Check out local and international news?
-Check sports scores?
-Movie times at your favorite theater?

I agree with you h3x, but I wouldn't even buy a Rolex. I think Swatch watches are just as good and far cheaper than any Rolex D

If McDonald's was [if6fa558d37]giving[/if6fa558d37] away Suunto watches, I'd break my fast food boycott and buy up Happy Meals until the stock ran out. And then do it again at another McD's.

Check out ReplicaWatchesGuide... There are ton of other brands that might be right up your alley... and RWG is the perfect place to find what you're looking for... Josh and Andrew are the top two dealers but there are plenty others out there that have different kinds of watches... It's a replica watch paradise 8)

Appearantly, It would be really hard to tell on the ones Andrew and Joshua have... There is a hologram sticker on the back and even the lugs and ends of the watches have serial numbers engraved in them just like the genuine watches... You can even buy the "official box with documentation and certificate of authenticity" P

I hate fake rolexes but that Tag Heuer looks nice. That suunto watch looks like today's equivalent of the 80's calculator watch.

Replace the Rolex with Swatch and the even numbered intervals with 3 6 and 9 and there is my watch =D

Fossil FTW!

I bought a replica Rolex in Jamaica for $55.00. It's the "YachtMaster" and it looks realy sharp. I am very happy with it, but I would not pay over 200 for it.

I have several, some from the early 80s which still run beautifully.

Yeah, I'm only doing that right now because I have yet to replace my watch's battery =/

One thing to remember, riding the subway with a fake rolex will get you robbed like your wearing a real one.
