Anybody know anything about overstock.com. I'm thinking about buying a TV from there.

They're a reputable company, but most of their electronics are refurbs and the prices are not nearly as great as they have you believe.

Ditto.
I was also surprised how far back some of the older stock goes. I remember seeing P3 laptops on there not so long ago. It reminded me of Tiger Direct.

So some of their merchandise is old and crappy?

Sometimes, and usually overpriced.
They sell quality name brands, including Denon, Yamaha, and even really high-end stuff like Nakamichi. It's just usually discontinued or older models, refurbs, or overstocked (hence their name) merchandise that didn't sell or was reconditioned for resale.

Again, if their refurbs aren't by the original manufacturer, I'd steer clear of them.
