What should I do? (Regarding PS3)

Okay so my parents are divorced and my dad and I both have Bank of America so he wires me $1000 so that I can use $100 for myself for like a week or two and then the rest is for my mom. The thing is, I thought that since my mom hadn't asked for the money for a while, I'd go ahead and use some of that child support money, I am still their child after all, to buy referrals and then before my mom would start bugging me about not getting the money for a few weeks, I'd have at least $100 more than I started with.

Anyway, my friend had asked me the other day to lend him $100 to pay for his CC bills because he was falling a little behind so I was like, "Okay just pay me back on Wednesday when you get paid." And so my mom calls just now and says that she had brought the Bank of America checkbooks I had left at home, but she forgot to give them to me today. So she says she will come on Friday, give me the checks so that I can finally pay her the money that my dad had sent.

She knows I lent my friend $100 for his bills, but I'm unsure of whether to loan ib the $200 for the PS3. I mean, Ithaca is kinda in the middle of nowhere, but I don't know for sure if he will get it and plus, I don't know how my mom will take it even if ib will refund the cash by Sunday if he doesn't get a PS3.

So should I go ahead and ask my mom(god I sound like a kid), if she'd be alright with that? Or should I just give my mom the money and tell ib to fuck off ? lol

It depends, if he doesn't get the PS3 then he's going to give it back, right? I would just tell my mom beforehand because she might have to loan it to her friend who's buying a PS3...

I just wish there was a site that listed the number of PS3's each store would have. Ib says the Best Buy in Ithaca, NY has 20 60GB models and 6 20 GB models.

thats the minimum for any BEST BUY. they all have at least that number ithaca might have more.

I'd get him for more. You are paying for 1/3 of it, you should get 1/3 the profits.
