Thanksgiving

Anyone have any plans for thanksgiving?

My grandma's house on the north side of town, nothing major.

Either going to my in-law's, or they are coming here so we can go to the Lions' game.

im gonna try that turkey stuff.

My father works so the day after at aroudn 2pm. So Im gonna go black friday shopping, go eat and then sleep. Yum...

I'm gonna go to the indian preservation and laugh at them for being so stupid.

Im either A gonna go to my friends house and chill there for a few days,
or B gonna stay home if my family does something which they might...
I'd rather go to my friends b/c his sister works at the mall and we could catch a ride with her there that day...

Yeah no prob, i thought that you were going to give me a stereotypical response that would have ticked me off. I am currently taken Native American Cultures at my college and I have learned a lot and obtained a different perspective on Native Americans.

Although they're different types of indians, over the summer, I stayed with native americans in Monument Valley Utah in a hogan. It was quite an experience wink

I just learned about hogans and their spiritual significance! SWEET! Pretty cool huh?

My prof (who is an anthropologist) stayed with a tribe that lived in hogans, but him (being a hippy) stayed in his VW van! HAHA lol
