I am the owner of www.KicksforFree.com which has been opened to public to join today. This site is an Incentive Rewards type of program, where one completes and offer as well as refers friends. www.KicksForFree.com allows users to claim their reward, which in this case is shoes after receiving credit for all necessities.

I got a pair of Doc Marten 8287 Series on my feet right now. I think a lot of people would be willing to do it for a pair of these shoes. They are foot bliss.

Depends on how many points and whether I REALLY want the shoes. The only issue I can forsee is that women (USUALLY, not always) like to try on shoes before they buy them. I'm not sure how man logic works (is it, "I wear a size [X] and that's what I'll get and go without trying on"?), but as nice as it sounds, I think I'd rather go to a store and try on shoes first.

Then again, I can try on the exact same pair, not buy them, but get them on the site...

So many thoughts running through this head of mine...

As for what kind of shoes women like...I can only tell you what kind I like...Skechers are my fave "casual" shoe, but new balance are my fave sport shoe.

For example, I'm totally diggin these Skechers Flee Oxfords that I cannot find in my size in the local area. But other ladies might think they're ugly. lishrugli

Yep ) Unless its a brand shoe I've never worn before, I know exactly what size I wear and have no need to try on unless I want to see how they wear (which I often do, unless I've already had that style of shoe before).

As far as the site, what about using my table as a reference (referralsdollars) and doing something like this

5 referrals you can get a shoe valued up to $X or less, 4 referrals you can get a shoe valued at $X or less, and so on.....That might work out better for you, but you would still have to establish how you are determining the "value" of the shoe. Perhaps a catalog? It would be nice, but it might be more than you want to get into (this could get very complicated, and might be more costly than your current setup).

Here is another suggestion (similar to FreeOffersNow's)

- Any pair of shoes $50-$100 (or PayPal) - X refs
- Any pair of shoes $100-$150 (or PayPal) - X+1 refs
- Any pair of shoes $150-$200 (or PayPal) - X+2 refs
- etc, etc.

(Or whatever you think is necessary for a successful business model. This is just a suggestion.)

This would be good, because then I could order my Merrell Primo Chill's ($90) for X refs, instead of being limited to the choices on the site.

pretty cool site, this is a first of it's kind (that i've seen), so with the right promotion and good business practice u should be able to go pretty far with this site.

good fair amount of referrals needed to get the items, i like how u had some random video games and computer items in there aswell. thats definetly a plus because it will also attract other users who might be interested in getting shoe's but could also be attracted by the other items.

so keep putting more random items as well as a variety of hot new shoe's and whatever else people who would end up at ur site, would be interested in getting.

maybe one gift could be a bundle of socks, a wallet and some shoe cleaner.

I would stay in the athletic shoe theme, and offer maybe the Adidas original Superstar for women. They apparently only offer it in pink now, but it's a start. That and maybe the K-Swiss Classic Luxury and Nido models in all the color options.

I'm a big shoe person, but the only shoes I could buy online without trying them on would be athletic shoes.

I think that you should add a PayPal payment system. Say, $15/ref (that is a little low compared to some sites which offers $25 but, you said that you only got about $20/ref so)

i had an idea for a site like this but the shoes here are pretty much baller type with some casual. What i had in mind was timberland,and phatfarm. Not many people rock nikes when they wanna go out, the kswiss for casual is not bad.

put in some skater shoes......more people wear those then nike shit. And i dont see lots of the athletes in most schools spending time to get a new pair of basketball shoes their parents buy them for bball season....or a pair that a college supplies free for the team.
