Have a Xbox 360? Good at Madden? Come Join the Winter Tourny

Well after a successful first run in the fall season, the Freebie Madden Challenge is back for another go-round. This time it is ran by me, the winner of the last Madden Tournament. I have talked with cmcalli (A4F) who also was the runner up of the last tournament to help iron out the fine details. Sponsors will be gathered and a money pot will be set aside. Unlike the last tournament the money will be gathered before the tournament sets off so players can be payed as soon as they drop out of the tournament.

RULES

[b4f305c3e90]Each player can use a team ONLY ONCE.[/b4f305c3e90] This adds strategy and challenge to the tournament.

[b4f305c3e90]The final score of the game, is the final score of the game.[/b4f305c3e90] There was a lot of bickering, crying, arguing, and fighting with the last tournament. It has been ruled by me that the game will call all penalties, that would be penalties in real life. However, I do know that the game sometimes does not call Pass Interference, but in real life a referee makes mistakes so why does everyone expect the game to be perfect?

[b4f305c3e90]This will be a two loss tournament, meaning if you lose twice you are out of the tournament.[/b4f305c3e90]

[b4f305c3e90]Everyone who wants to join will have to pay 10 dollars Paypal.[/b4f305c3e90] 10 Dollars is not a lot of money, and everyone will get some money back, maybe even all of their money back depending on the amount of sponsors I can gather up.

[b4f305c3e90]Everyone will be required to list the speed of their internet connection.[/b4f305c3e90] I know some people can not host games due to their bad internet connections. I do not want games where players have to play through extremely laggy conditions and then cry about losing due to lag. So the best way to defend against it, is have people who can host, and people who can not. (If in later in the tournament two non-hosting players have to play, they will both try and host and if it is unplayable there will be a re-ordering of their game so they play in a game that is non laggy)

[b4f305c3e90]Anyone who whines, cries, bickers, or complains about a game after a loss will automatically lose their spot in the tournament and forfeit their cash award and only be rewarded their original ten dollars.[/b4f305c3e90] I do not mind discussion after the game about a certain play that should or should not have happened, or a call that should have happened....I just do not want people calling other people cheaters or cheesers. This tournament is meant to be for fun, as well as competition.

[b4f305c3e90]After each game, each player will list their teams used and the score of the game.[/b4f305c3e90] As I said above, I do not mind polite discussion of the game and/or the plays in the game.

One last Rule [b4f305c3e90]Games will be played in a quick fashion.[/b4f305c3e90] You will be given FOUR days to play your game, I do not want this taking all month. You can have a one or two day extension barring extreme cases, I would do not want to have to DQ anyone and give someone a loss for a no-show, but I will do it.

I think that is about it. If you want to join, go ahead and post and I will start a list. There will be no more than 12 players joining, and I have 4 or so already. This list will fill up quick, and as soon as I get sponsors it will be underway. Good luck, have fun, and get ready for some FOOTBALL!
