Would I Make A Good Moderator?

Just totally random. I don't actually think I would be able to pull off being a moderator with the amount of schoolwork I have BUT let's just say that I was a moderator. Would I make a good one?

Here are my Pros and Cons

PROS
-Spends too much time on the forums
-Has high TR/post count
-Most of my trades have been speedy
-I help people
-I enjoy long walks on the beach and meaningful conversations by candlelight dinner
-At my current rate, I average about 100 posts per 3-4 days if I have nothing better to do. Otherwise, about 100 posts per 6-7 days.
-I like me.


CONS (a.k.a. the media dredging up my negative aspects)
-I am a post whore
-I will probably accidentally expose the Admin Forum to everyone for like a brief period of time, letting n00bs browse and make topics in it
-I have been temp-banned a total of 1 (one) time(s) for flaming Cams
-I killed that spider in the lounge.
-I have a fantasy of attending a drum circle on the Porter meadow (Admin knows what I'm talking about here)

I'm sure you'd be fine as a mod, but we don't usually pick mods based on who asks to be one.. when we need one, we just offer it to someone we think would be good.

I don't think a good moderator would go around asking if he was good.

Being a moderator on a forum is nice for a while...but it all depends on where.

As for whether you would make a good moderator or not....I can't really say. All I know, is that in my experience, moderating can be overrated.

I used to kind of want to be a mod but I don't want to be one at all anymore. Like it's been stated before, it's a lot of work and overrated. I'd just enjoy myself on here and not worry about it if I were you. If I were asked to be a mod right now, I would turn the offer down.

I'm gonna be honest with you, unknown uchiha, I think the only reason you want to be a mod is because you want to have a higher "rank" on FiPG and you want to feel more important.

I've just seen that overall attitude in you through a lot of your posts.

My favorite part of being a moderator at another forum was the super-secret mod forum they created because they thought I was trading secrets from the regular mod forum to regular members (ummm, CIA much?). About a month of back stabbing, back talking and a bunch of high school bs and someone informed me about it all after they acquired one mod's password. Then I was suspected of "hacking." roll

Sure, you'd made a decent moderator....but sometimes, it's not worth it.
