ah, beat me to the punch.
It's a great concert. I love how she starts off with a few songs not on any of her albums. I used to hate going to shows where bands did this, but I can now understand how playing the same stuff over and over again gets really old.
But yes, Regina is amazing.
Did any of you all see her on Conan? She played Fidelity. And was adorable afterwards.

I saw her open for The Strokes a couple of years ago, I never really got into her stuff though. I just recognized you said 930 club and know NPR broadcasts concerts from there from time to time.
Anyhow I hadn't seen it in a while and it caused me to find some great shows that I probably wouldn't have known were on there .sourl==http://=http:///url +kma.

Saw them at ACL this year, they were pretty good although I wasn't blown away with their live show. It's an outdoor festival and that doesn't always suit a band well so it isn't always a good sign. Anyways I agree great record.
As to music I have been listening to
I just went to a Broken Social Scene concert friday, and was blown away by how great of a show they put on. The touring band consists of at any moment 10-16 people. I counted 15 people on stage at one point, sometimes it would only be 4 though. Definatly the most humble band I have ever seen. The lead singer took requests willingly, even playing songs never rehearsed live before, and towards the end of the show came into the audience and embraced the audience. They played for 2 and half hours non-stop, if you ever get a chance to see em check em out.
They are maybe the best of a amazing booming Canadian music scene that includes the likes of The Arcade Fire, The Stills, Of Montreal, The New Pornographers, Wolf Parade, Metric, Feist, Stars, The Dears, Do Make Say Think.
The band includes members of the last 5 mentioned there. Simply some amazing music coming out of canada these days. You Forget It In People is the album you want to check out.
Also i'm going to mention some more post-rock and recomend Explosions In the Sky. I missed them at ACL because they were up against Iron and Wine. However they are definatly on my radar, and if you like experimental/instrumental rock you should check them out.
