I think the cardinals are an okay team at best. It's too bad that detroit threw away (and I mean literally) the last three games. Hats off to St. Louis though....They did play the better series in that they didn't make stupid mistakes.

Meh. There isn't a team in the NL that deserved to win a free burger from the McDonalds Monopoly contest. NL sucked this year. The fact that the Cardinals were able to beat anything stronger than a common cold is nothing short of a miracle.

sadly... i have to agree that the giants have become a shithole team... bruce bochy as a new manager??? They should be bringing back dusty baker... not some crapass from san diego!!! And if bonds comes back i'm totally not going to any giants games this year because that'd just be ridiculus

Bonds sucks....He's an ahole on top of taking roids....There's a reason you don't hear Hank Aaron ever talk about Bond's coming close to surpassing him...It's b/c even Aaron thinks he cheated.

Tigers were the favorites coming in but u gotta give them credit for getting to the WS in the first place.

The worst thing about the Cards winning the series is that it essentially makes the entire season a waste for everyone on Earth. Not simply because most everyones team didn't win but seriously, what is the point of even having a season if the Cardinals are going to be the ones who take it all?
