The ad I can't get out of my mind is the one from the RNC opposing Harold Ford.
http//www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vZF5ZTu2Go&eurl=
There's a promiscuous woman that says something "I meet Harold at the Playboy Party!" and then at the end you can see her say "Call me, Harold".
The rest of the ad is pretty funny to me, too.

LOL. You [ia3273f25be]do[/ia3273f25be] know that the accusations made are exaggerated, don't you? Voting yes on a bill with an attachment for a research study doesn't mean separate votes on the vietnamese prostitutes etc. D
That kind of thing happens all the time. The cleanest politician has probably voted yes on something that would sound awful.

yea they even explained that he probably signed a college grant for a college to do a study on sex and they used that money to study those things. its not like he signed something to study old men masterbating habits.

Given the city and state that I live in an ad like this is less than "shocking" If I where trying to make a valid point by saying hes a pervert I would have backed it up alittle more. I was joking.

I have a tough time seeing how that ad is racist. To claim that is such a stretch, you'd have to be a very desperate individual who is intellectually bankrupt. It has nothing to do with race, and pretending it does is part of the reason why Ford is melting down.
If the woman in the ad was black, you'd probablly find a reason to call it racist. You'd be shouting "stop stereotyping black women as whores!". And if a black Playmate was in the ad, it would probablly be unbelievable because I don't think there are many of them (if any). Maybe you have some beef with Hef.
The Playboy party mention, which Ford admitted to going to, is a reference to Ford's character and moral choices. Nothing else.
P.S. In the eyes of liberals, any ad against an African American candidate is racist. Unless of course, the candidate is a token Republican sellout who "slavishly" supports his party. Perhaps you could lend a hand in the defense of Michael Steele, who has been facing real attacks based on the color of his skin.

I dont think the race card was played in this. He isn't an old guy, he is single, and went to a playboy party. I think this could be used no matter if he is black or white.

It is a shame that republicans are together like in 1994. Not that democrats are any more together. This election is about not voting for something rather than voting for something.
