I try to do as many RAOK's as possible on a daily basis. It's amazing how even something small as holding a door open for someone doesn't even garner a Thank You anymore.
It's pathetic.
If I do a favour for someone, instead of asking to be "repaid" I ask them to pay it forward.

Yeah, I often try to help people up and down stairs if they have a luggage cart or, [ib21245aa72]especially[/ib21245aa72], a stroller.
It's really disgusting to see more able-bodied people not lend a hand.

If I hold the door open for someone and they don't say thank you, I come up behind them and give them a slight trip with my shoe. But I apologize.

I generally hold the door open for people if they are close. But if they don't make it in 3 seconds, I shove it in their face. I also let people in when driving, unless I'm in a hurry.
