Instead of sending me the item, the seller sent me an mini yellow pouch/bag. I contacted the seller and they said, "No, we didnt send you that. Look and see if you were mistaken. Cheers!"

If i file a dispute, it is my word against theirs, correct? It was mailed in one of those flatrate boxes so weight wasnt an issue that i could show on the postage. It had delivery confirmation, so they will have that on their side. If if file a claim with paypay that the item was significantly different, would i still loose because it is my word against theirs and they have a delivery confirmation?

Any suggestions? Because the item i won was over $60 after shipping, NOT SOME 10 CENT CHILD"S BAG evil

Thanks

File a INR report on ebay. If you paid with a cc through paypal (safest way to pay), you should be ok.

Link to the item?

I went through the same thing but through Half.com which is owned by eBay.

I paid straight from the CC instead of through paypal and i just called up and filed a dispute. I never got the item shipped, it was a 85 dollar book for a class of mine and the funny thing was the fact that she sent media mail and it was like 3 and a half weeks. I got to leave feedback on the bitch because she wasn't responding to any of my e-mails and then i see the account has been deleted. Called up my Visa company and disputed the payment.

Havent heard anything since.

Go through the CC company to reverse the charge, its the simplest way to go for you.

man that sucks.. thats why I hate people these days. if he has a high feedback rating maybe it was an honest mistake.. maybe not. He can't do this to many peole without getting lots of negative feedback.

Not if he wants to stay within Paypal's terms of use. They'll let him do a chargeback later on but he has to go through the system first.

No, don't do that. The seller will simply show delivery confirmation and the buyer will lose the dispute.

Open a SNAD instead.

Oh yeah, it's SNAD. It is the same process/form so I just group them together (I had to do this last week). Just specify that the item was not as described.

Oh, one mor ething, i thought paypal only lets you file a limited number of claims.

Also, it doesnt always work. This happened to me once

[quote0ead765928]We have completed our investigation of this case. We attempted to process a refund from the seller's account to your account. Unfortunately, the seller's account does not contain the funds necessary to cover this refund. We were able to recover $0.00 USD. We have taken action against the seller and are working to recover the remainder of your refund. We will contact you when we have more information. No further action is required of you at this time.[/quote0ead765928]
