Wii Pre-Order

Just preordered my Wii today - I dont predict shortage but since I was number one at the ebgames I chose hopefully I will get one! There were 32 peeps in line and they only had tickets for 14 people.

i really wish i didnt go to class today(TURNS OUT IT WAS CANCELED), i could have gotten one (

yep ordered that too, plus red steel plus super monkey ball but I might cancel that one because husband was like I want to rent super monkey ball before we buy it and red steel has mixed reviews blah blah blah. Well anyway also p/o memory card 1GB and extra nunchuk and remote controllers.

Isn't the memory card just an SD card with NINTENDO branded on it and like the price jacked up?

i dont know they have 4mill sitting in warehouse so i dont see a shortage but i remember when the 64 came out i didnt get it holiday season (thats when i was a nintendo fanboy) lol

Why should I care if Nintendo succeeds? The beauty of being the gamer lies within the fact that competition between companies produces better stuff for us, and fanboyism is just stupid as hell. Judging from your posts, you're a Sony fanboy, and I know a fanboy when I see one. If you don't like other systems, that's cool. There's just no reason to hate them or hate when the other company succeeds. Games are games, and the company behind them doesn't mean shit. In my opinion, innovation lies within software, not hardware, so the Wii doesn't appeal at all. But I could care less if Nintendo makes money off of it because it'll only make Sony and MS try harder to please its consumers (Me). Don't be a recruit in the nonexistent console war. It's all just fun stuff. Sweet, sweet games.

Monster Cables are way overpriced. They make themselves seem so great but in reality, they're just greedy asshats. shrug

the question is if it will have to be a PS3 HDMI cable, and have some funky input on the PS3, like all video game consoles seem to.

anyways if you are buying the ps3 you are probably prepared to spend the cash on all the accessories.

I can't justify spending $600 on a system, but I am due one from freepay so I might go ahead and keep it
