Anyone know well enough about Proxy to know how to detect who used it by looking at the ip?

You can tell what state they're from and then confirm it with the state they signed up with.

Only way to tell who used the proxy is checking the proxy logs. Then it depends if the proxy even logs connections. You probably won't get anywhere going that route. Doubt you'll be able to track down the owner of the IP(proxy) used unless you got some connections.

You'll have better luck trying to track them down by asking the person they signed up under if it was a referral.
