i was in gym, playing basketball and the ball hit my right thumb. Hurt so much. went to er, its fractured and i have to wear a cast thing for at least 2 weeks.

the other night I fainted in the kitchen and hit my head - I have a huge bruise and had to go to the ER because I had a concussion (sigh) Im a klumzy woman.

Yeah, when I was a kid at day camp, I broke a finger on something and they put my arm in a cast up to my shoulder. The counselor freaked out when she saw it. You'd think my arm was broken.

Yeah I was leaning back on my chair when I was 7 or so. Fell back and my head nailed the corner of a desk. blood everywhere. I ended up getting 7 staples or something.

That happened to my friend last year! Only I had pulled the chair away when he was about to sit down, and I got suspended for it. But it was comical!
Yea, I had to get stiches on the bottom of my foot once, that fucken hurts!

Stability, I guess, and I was a kid. Maybe they thought I could slip it off, and doing it up to the shoulder would prevent that? Dunno.

okay well if everyone else is going to tell there story... when i was 6 or 7 i tripped on a dog toy and landed face first on the corner of coffee table. Couple stiches from where the teeth poked through my cheek and lip.

Above? That would explain the stability issue. It would be hard for that to be pulled off.

whats crazy is you could have pain in that thumb that will annoy you and stop you from doing activities, for 6 months!

happened to me when i piano tried to fall over and i jammed my finger.
