Ps3 pre-order

how many you guys got yours i got mine and so did my brother. i was number 2 waited since 12am and it was only me and another guy till around 8 and it was like 18 man houston got shady gamestop employees.

I got one and my buddy got one, he got to his gamestop a little after 10 and was number 7, i got to mine at 930 and was number 5.

So whos camping out to get number 2 at launch for ebay bucks

i got 2, one at gamestop and one at eb got there at 1005ish today had to skip a class but it wasnt a big deal...

Crap, both of my local EB stores sold all their pre-orders in 15 minutes. I was in both last week asking about it, and they didn't know when they were going to start selling pre-orders. Just got off the phone with one of the stores and the guy said they got an e-mail just this morning telling them how many they could sell.

He was also explaining how, for those who might not know, the EB pre-order does NOT guarantee you a system at launch, just a place in line. They're trying to avoid another 360 fiasco by overselling launch units.

i am thinking about selling the preorder receipt, someone has one with a $1000 bid...thats a $900 profit...Which would mean a better profit then having to buy the PS3 ($600) and I'd have to make about $1500 to bust that same profit...and theres a chance I wont get one because I was number 14 at eb, and I don't know what number I was at gamestop.

Wouldn't that mean that the person would have to go to the same EB store you preordered it at?

precisely, lol' I also had to show identification for my preorder on the 360 when I got it last year on release day.

I'm just saying that if you put it on eBay that would really reduce the number of people that would bid on it depending on your location.

to be honest it may be best to hold off until you actually have the thing. things happen to delay merchandise...also you may not be covered by the seller protection on ebay/paypal for selling a receipt to a preorder for an item

ebay already working on it they are taking some down and also rumor has it wii pre-orders are on friday the 13th

just go stand at walmart....made 1000 on 360 last year for 9 hrs of sitting on my ass
