For some reason my firefox tweaked out after a BSOD and messed with some stuff.
When I open up firefox it doesn't start up maximized, also on my toolbar I have the "New Tab" thing next to refresh, but when I open up firefox everytime it doesn't have it.
Anyone know how I can get these two things how I want them?

Close Firefox. Go to Start > Run. Type this in, assuming you installed Firefox in the default path.
"C\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode
That'll boot Firefox's safe mode menu. Once it's booted, click the Reset Toolbars and Controls. It'll hopefully fix your problems.
If that doesn't fix it, try checking out the other options at safe mode, but they will erase some things that you may want to keep.

That worked for the toolbar thing. Thanks. Karma+
Any idea on the maximized thing?

You can try this. Right click the shortcut to Mozilla on your desktop, click on "Properties" and under "Run", change it to "Normal window." If that doesn't work, try changing it to "Maximized window". If that doesn't work, then shrug.

you could also try opening 2 new windows, maximizing both of them, then closing both of them... for some reason that resets it sometimes.
I'm having the same problems as ur having for some time now. No matter what I do, the windows is never maximized everytime I start up. Apparently, the little toolbar for google and such disappears. I can never add a bookmark. Will have to drag and drop. etc......

That'll fix the bookmarking problem and anything wrong with you toolbars at all. I suggested a solution to the minimized problem, but I'm not sure if it works or not. Try it.

I can't find the "reset toolbars and controls" option.
and second, I can't find "run" under Properties. The only options are "general", "shortcut", and "compatiabity"

It's on the Shortcut tab. Between the "Shortcut key" and "Comment" fields.

That's to fix the toolbar problem in Firefox.
The path is "C\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode "
For the maximize thing
