PSP Emulation and backups

So I have found that there are more iso's on demonoid than on places like pspcrazy and pspisos, but what about a good old mario emulator? Where can I get one of those. Also, once I have downloaded a psp iso how do I play it on a stick? Just put it on there? And one last thing... Will this stick work? (please don't answer about the card unless you are 100% absolutely positive)

the memory sticks off ebay go for about 75 dollars shipped if your lucky, i finished a psp off freepay but i have to wait a month before they even start to approve it.

I have a PSP. I want to know what all I can do with it. I need to know how to put SNES games on it and is there anything else cool I can do with it? Also, it isn't v1.50, if that matters.

unknown, i didn't know there was an adaptor from duo to sd, the only thing i saw was a duo to regular memory stick adapter via the aRM kit. Could you post a link please ?

Either way i hope osmething will come out that makes it possible to plug an external mini hd into the usb slot emulating a memory stick (Seagate Hockey Puck and so on...)

Either way i just finished my the psps.freepay.com site but im waiting for my month to clear before they start to approve my account (never doing gratis again) but im thinking of just buying the 4gb duo or by the time i get my freakn psp an 8 gb ) lol

some things to think about.
1. not all PSPs can be downgraded to version 1.5 which then makes them moddable so that you have a program called devhook (there are others) running that will emulate the psp OS environment such that you can run games off of your memory stick.
2. modding is not hard, from what I have read. the important thing is to have a freshly formatted memory stick and not to turn off the psp during the installation and the downgrade.

4. note that there are two adapters. the first allows a memory stick duo to plug into the adapter which then plugs into a normal SD slot.
the second is an adapter that allows an sd card to plug into a duo slot.
5. i got my duo 2gb card for $40. most are going for $46-$55 but are much more in the stores. do NOT purchase from a dealer from asia as per the guides on ebay your chances of getting a fake are high. the seller colordrives has been great for me over the last few years although this time he told me the card was in the package but i got an opened one..waiting for his reply.
6. there is a difference between psp ISOs and PSP emulators. to play on the psp i believe you need isos.

So if I have a 1.5 ver. PSP I can play iso's and new umd's? Or will it want me to upgrade in order to play things like vice city and Oblivion?

You can use the new UMDs with this thing on the PSP, it makes the PSP think you have version 2.0+ etc. etc.

whats the best ISO loader out right now. Last time I was haxxoring my 1.5 i was using fastloader .7 but it hasnt been updated since and I wanna start playing my psp again.

Devhook .45 , something like that, its great. Its like all of them put together, play isos and csos, and I think u can play online by connectiong ur psps through a usb

yea devhook is pretty boss, you can also load higher firmwares without reflashing your psp, so you can play new UMDs but keep your 1.5
