I was really happy for kenny rogers, he is an amazing pitcher and sometimes just loses his focus. I was really pissed when the rangers didn't resign him.

Yanks are lulling the other teams into a false sense of security... it's all part of their plan...

Tsmith10803

06-10-2006 21:33:43

Yea, they are losing on purpose so the other team stops playing as hard, then when they're down by 3 in the last inning of the next game, they're going to get a grand slam and end the game. You just watch.
GO YANKEES

The series is far from over, but if Bonderman even comes close to what Rogers did tonight it's over. Jaret Wright is not the guy I would want to have the ball w/ my season on the line. That's all I'm saying. Go Tigers )

Haha yea, but I was born in detroit, so I'm pretty torn for this series (my last comment was sarcastic)
I've no bias to either team, whoever wins wins, and the other teams fans/haters have to deal with it.

Yankees own, all you have to do is look at their past history to see that. Also, if you've ever gone to a Yankees game it's unlike anything I've ever been too. True dedication, I've seen grown men get into brutal fist fights in the name of their Yankees team.

Tsmith10803

06-10-2006 23:11:50

Yea, I've gotten into a fight at school over them, but when you look at the numbers it show's they're better, it also show's they're pretty pricy, that is if you look at the salary numbers. If every team could pay like them, there'd be a lot of better teams out there. But either way, kudos for them to having the money to do it, They honestly have the best team, but if they didn't have so much money, it'd be a different story.

kidd2108

06-10-2006 23:16:10

Not sure if its correct, but I read an article somewhere that Steinbrenner isnt the richest owner in baseball and the Twins owner could actually spend more. Stenbreener just likes to spend more on his team. I know more factors come into play like actual team income, but im just saying hes not the richest.

they don't have the best team, I really think this years world series is up in the air. There aren't any strong teams barraling into the postseason anymore.

I thought the twins would run over the A's and look what happened? The yankees have no pitching is their problem, so they will never be the best team.

I would have also picked the mets to make it to the world series, but now their top two starters are out so good luck to them.

any team can win, because right now the strongest team actually appears to be the A's, who I didn't like coming in

LOL. F the Yankees

I was a Yankee supporter for a while when they had Gooden, Strawberry, and Cone but now they're just a bunch of overpaid chokers. A-Rod is MR Choke. Hideki will choke it out any day of the week. Sheff will pull a steroid injury. Giambi sweats like a pig and thus cant see a Fastball. Posada is gay. Randy's back is in wworse shape then Jennna Jameson after a 15 hour rompathon. Mussina is gay

Basically your team consists of Mariano, Damon,Jeter, and Cano. Four players that can actually produce in the clutch and wont choke it up.

I went to a Yankee game about two weeks ago against the Red sox and it sucked. I left after the 5th inning. The only reason I wnet ot the game was to get drunk but unfortunately my broter had left field bleacher tickets and they didnt serve beer there. God damn annoying Yankee fans in the Bronx just screaming is the most annoying thing in life.

Go Mets

I went to a Yankees game this one time against Boston and there was this Boston fan that kept standing up and screaming. This guy that lived in NYC told him if he did it again he's knock him out. A few innings later the guy stood up screamed for Boston turned around and smiled at the guy and they Yankees fan walked down to the guy very slowly, smiling, and punched him right in the face and knocked the guy out. It was probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Not the guy getting hurt but just how everything unraveled.

maybe but I hihgly doubt it. The game I went to had Redsox fans in the left field bleachers(NYC craziest sit here... why they dont serve alcohol here). They cheer everytime something good happened for Boston and the crazy Yankee fans looked like they wanted to kill em but guess decided not to considering there were a lot of police there. All that really ahppened was a few RedSOX suck or sit down thrown around but not much more htne that. Also I rememeber seeing Redsox fans in the parking lots tailgating and werent getting harrassed.
