I just $900 from I-Deal for the 24'' Dell monitor.
I still really want a monitor, but don't want to spend that much on one.
I've looked at some of the 20'' Dell's. They look nice, but still pricy.
I'm looking to spend under $400 for this so if I could get any suggestions or anything would help.
I've looked here

I've looked at others from other companys. I'm good with picking the computer, but not with displays. cry

Check Newegg/TigerDirect.
I know they have one or two AWESOME 19" WIDESCREEN monitors for $199.99.

All under $200. ;)

Your right he does, they have one at work. The thing is very nice looking and that's like 3/4 the OG price.

Lol I'm looking for the exact same thing. Freepay is sending me a $400 giftcard and I'm trying to figure out what kind of monitor to get that is 20" or over, for a good price.
/me waits for a dmorris type of post. lol

The Dell 20" 2007FP would be my choice too. I have the 2001FP, the prior version, and it's an awesome LCD. Here it is paired up in dual-mode with my 2407 courtesy of I-Deal

I avoid all widescreens under 24" like the plague -- can't tolerate the reduced resolution, and a 19" widescreen is horrible with only 800 or so vertical res.
Lots of Dell LCD's are sold on eBay at good prices. As long as you're dealing with a reputable seller, you should be fine.
My next choice after Dell would be a Samsung 20". You can find them for just under $400 if you shop around. I think Wolfeman recently bought 2 of them.

i have the 2007fp and it's great
i got it for $189 when dell was doing their 50% deal if you coupled it with a laptop order, but i'd gladly pay $360 for it
much AOEIII and CoD2 have been played on it, no ghosting at all, the resolution is great, and it's very crisp and bright
