Ok, so a bunch of us have the Panasonic TH-42PWD8UK we all recieved from certain DIY sites and i need help with connections.

Ive had my xbox 360 hooked up to the TV via componant cables for the past few months. Well i recently traded in my older cable box for a new Digital High Def capable Comcast box however, this tv only has one set of componant inputs (

What are my options in order to get both hooked up with componant without getting the addon card???

Is there a switch availible to choose between the two sources that wont degrade quality?

I really want to watch TV in highdef and widescreen and dont want to keep switching out the connections.

How will the highdef cable look if i hook the cable box up with svideo?

you can't watch highdef through svideo. I think you have to switch them out or get some kind of box that lets you put in 3-4 inputs and outputs to the TV.

Either get an AV receiver that supports component switching, or buy a cheap manual component switch. Wal-Mart sells one for $20 I think.

I bought an Onkyo HT-590S[=http//www.crutchfield.com/S-p2kOpA0chEL/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=37600&I=580HTS590S]Onkyo HT-590S HTIB system for my Panny plasma, and the receiver supports component switching. It's a great system for the money. No comparison to my Yamaha RX-V2600 and H/K speakers in the family room of course, but then again that's about $1500 compared to less than $300 for the Onkyo setup.

I bought a cheap component switch like dmorris described for $12 off ebay. It switches between my xbox 1 and xbox 1.5 and works well.
