The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion will be a launch title for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system this November and The Elder Scrolls Travels Oblivion will be released on the PSP® system in Spring 2007

I will want to get a PSP again after trading mine in to play Oblivion on the go!

Oblivion should only be played on PC IMO. I think playing it on anything else sucks.

Tsk, tsk. It's incredible on the 360.

I would say the same thing but I would be lying... it does look better on the PC and it makes me cry because Im not a PC Gamer. I bet it will look good on the PS3 though.

It all depends. In order to present the kind of graphics in Oblivion that the Xbox 360 can with no slow downs and in high defintion of course (720p/1080i) you're looking at spending probably more than $400+ on just your video card alone on a PC for it to look as good.

I'm not entirely computer saavy but I was on a forum earlier where the same debate was going on and to do what the 360 can in high def and how awesome it looks you're looking at quite a computer rig. Ultimately though if you do have a pimped out computer it probably does look better.

It just depends on whether you have the money and the nerdiness to throw down a few grand for a ultimate gaming rig, or you're a casual gamer who would rather drop down $500 for an XBOX 360...

I'm the latter. Though I don't even have a 360 yet... Won't get one until that Black XBOX 360 with bundled HD-DVD comes out in Q1 of 2007. In the meantime happy with my XBOX and my Dreamcast.

The very idea that the bundle with the Black 360 + HD DVD add-on is coming out makes me want to sell my XBox 360 + 9 games right now and just upgrade my rig with dual 7900GTX's and go nuts on computer games until the new year and just buy a new one then. P

7900GTX = Die after a week

Get dual 7950GX2s. They're 1GB each, but so big you need 2 completly seperate PCI-e slots (e.g. one on one side, other on the other side) or they won't fit.

Yeah, I don't think my ASUS A8N-32 SLI Deluxe could fit those and the 7950GX2's are a lot more expensive than the 7900GTX (which might I add are apparently scoring higher in all benchmarks than the 7950GX2 - or maybe it wasn't lsited on there.. don't remember, but I will double check).

The only way I'd be able to afford them anyway is selling my XBox 360, 9 games, tons of extras and what not. P

I thought the black xbox 360 was just a mishap of a color inverted best buy ad, lol

The Best Buy ad that was circulating was likely a fake considering it included no signs of the words, pricing, or any kind of information relating to the 360 what-so-ever in it.

Microsoft is obviously well aware though of the hype around the possibility of an Xbox 360 and knowing MS they're going to put one out. Maybe not now but at some point down the road it's a given.

The black 360s were test kits. There are no plans announced for one.

Or you could already have a computer that supports it. shrug
