It crashes like crazy for me. Anyone know whats the deal? Any work arounds? Is there a way to restore your iPod without using iTunes now?
Well to answer your third question, the iPod updater program has been removed as a separate program and integrated with iTunes 7. Restores and firmware updates are done in iTunes.
As for 7.01, Im installing right now to see if I have any problems. No problems with 7.0 so far.
It looks exactly the same to me. what did change?
also it works prefectly find for me.

the mac version is a lot different. there are more ways to sort through your music, the video player has changed, and tv shows, movies, and video podcasts are now kept seperate. i like it a lot more...

I've upgraded to iTunes 7 on my mac.
And I'm still happily using iTunes 6.0.3.5 on my PC..

I've been using v7 for a couple weeks now and have had no problems on the PC. I like the new album art "jukebox" view. )

I figured out what is causeing my crash, its when iTunes trys to sync with my contacts via Outlook. I guess I'll just shut that off.
Anyone know if this version of iTunes will monitor your iTunes folder to see if you put new music in it?

That would be so nice, so I won't have to add the stuff to itunes myself before i can put it on my ipod.
