I just started up my Firefox, and all of my tabs and bookmarks are gone. Has this happened to any of you? Quite frustrating.

Edit This isn't really a huge deal, but there are now 2 problems I'm having with firefox, maybe you all can help.

1) When I open a new firefox window, I want it to be automatically maximized, how can I do this?

2) The search bar on the right has the magnifying class next to it, instead of google. When I try to add engines, google isn't an option on firefox's website. If I try to add yahoo for instance, I click, and nothing changes.

Any ideas?

Close Firefox. Go to Start > Run. Type this in, assuming you installed Firefox in the default path.

"C\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode

That'll boot Firefox's safe mode menu. Once it's booted, click the Reset Toolbars and Controls to fix the search engine problem, for sure. It'll also fix your ability to add Bookmarks to the Bookmarks folder. About the maximized way, you could try reinstalling it. (Keeps all bookmarks, etc.)
