I went to see Eric Clapton last night and he was amazing. If there are any Clapton fans out there, or fans of good music in general, and Clapton comes to town. Go see it. He performed a song which has been, in the last 10+ years, only performed as was performed on his Unplugged album... Blew the roof off when the original was played.

Where did you see him perform?

Dude, Eric Clapton is my favorite solo artist/guitarist. His music is so amazing. Derek and the Dominoes was his best band, in my opinion, but the Yarbirds were also godly. Clapton = Amazing. Layla = Best Song Ever. What's your favorite Clapton song? Also, if Clapton was ever playing in NJ, I'd see him in a heartbeat.

I'm a big fan of Layla, Cocaine... Almost anything he's playing, i'm listening.

Yea, he's boss. The story behind Tears in Heaven is just sad.

3 of my friends went there last night too. We're all going to the wolfmother concert at the riviera though.

How much were tickets to that Fugger?

I'm going to see Roger Waters and tickets were over $100.

I saw Roger Waters play last night at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre (used to be called World Music Theatre, it's about 40 minutes away from Chicago in Tinley Park).

He opened with In The Flesh, played most of the WYWH album, some of his solo stuff, and Sheep from Animals. They took a break, came back, and played the ENTIRE Dark Side of the Moon, and then did their encore.

This trumps Tool by far, can't wait to go see him again in Indianapolis tonight D
