I'm a co-op student doing a work term programming Data Reduction software for SCUBA-2 (http//www.roe.ac.uk/ukatc/projects/scubatwo/[]http//www.roe.ac.uk/ukatc/projects/scubatwo/). Basically I mess around with C code and try to learn about Cosmology. It's a cool job.

Spare time random web design and freebies. Lots and lots of freebies.

I was being too lazy when I made the thread to post my job stuff...I am in my second week of training for Gateway/eMachines phone technical support. I worked there like 2 years ago for about 5 months, and I honestly hate it, but it works for me...I get paid $9.00/hr, plus some other bonus thing that if I qualify I get $0.35 extra for each minute I am on the phone, as well as sales.

I work for a University's IT department as a technical writer. I basically write instructional documentation as well as news briefs that contain information that is technical for my co-workers to understand. I am also the #1 contact in the department (over 500 employees now) when it comes to infrastructure related news and assignments, and I've been there less than 2 years.

Nothing really funny happens, since I work in an office environment, but my day usually consists of working, talking, working, talking, and talking more. I really should get more work done, lol.

You referring to me? If so, it's a toy store - hence the name.

And I'm in Canada so $8.25/hr to start isn't overly impressive, but it's alright. Better than making nothing more than freebies here at home, though, so I'll take it.
