well basically....

i had office 2003, everything was going smooth as butter, when all of the sudden, when word started freezing up on me (not loading), and it would only load up in safe mode.

So i reinstalled it, same problem. Then i decided hmm... office 2007 B2.

So i got that installed it, everything worked fine, except when you look at the inbox in outlook it freezes outlook for about 1/2 an hour. Word was loading, and then it kinda reverted back tot the problem it was having earlier.

any help from [bf311d4a349]anyone[/bf311d4a349] would be appreciated.

Well, I wouldn't have tried that '07 Beta regardless of the other problem.

It would be cool to create a Dmorris or a Moderator Post Icon symbol.

office 2007 beta works fine. I've been using it for a couple weeks since it's the only word processor vista seems to support. just make sure if you're sending a file to yourself that you save it as a .docurl==http://=http:///url and not the .docxurl==http://=http:///url it defaults to. I haven't had any problems at all with it so good luck.

like lets just put it this way. Word from 95-03 looked fairly similar. 07 will blow your mind, it takes some getting used to tho.

Well, it probably looks the same in classic mode. ;)

amir89630

is there a way to revert it back to classic mode?

Tholek

In XP, yeah. Right click the desktop and change the appearance. You can make the rest of XP look classic too.

It affects how programs look in XP too.

Back to the OP...

I dunno, amir. Sounds like you have some core system files hosed up or something, as everything Microsoft shares a lot of them. Try completely uninstalling Office, rebooting, then re-installing.

Or do like I do and give up on MS Office entirely. I use OpenOffice and it's free to boot. ;)

Reformat your comp, then Install. Reformat tends to fix ALL issues D. I need to reformat myself. Haven't done so in 2 years =/
