I have the entire Calvin and Hobbes collection on PDF and would like something that I can view it on while away from the computer. Is a palm able to do this without having to buy a viewer? Is there any type of MP3 player that will do this?

you have to have Pocket PC/ Pocket PC 2002 to run Adobe Acrobat Reader

Yes, of course there is an acrobat reader for Palm OS. All you had to do was google 'palm acrobat reader.'

Also, I don't have a palm or need one except for to view pdf's so the price isn't really worth it all that much /

roll It says [bc814a5a923]Free[/bc814a5a923] Adobe Reader for Palm on the first page, if that isn't obvious enough...

All you have to do is google. There are PDF readers for many portable devices, including Symbian smartphones and PSP.

In your case, convert the PDF to jpeg and view it on your ipod (assuming you have one).

That'd be pretty hard to read on an iPod. (

it would also be hard on a palm. But the advantage of the palm is that you would be running the adobe reader for pocket pc, so you could probably zoom in or something.

Wait, I R CONFUSED.

The Palm wouldn't be running Adobe Reader for PocketPC, it would be running Adobe Reader for PalmOS. Or are you using the term "Palm" to mean any PDA? If so, shame on you, as it leads to much confusion in old brains such as mine. P

Adobe Reader is free for both platforms, so either one you have, you're set. If it's a recent PocketPC/Windows Mobile vintage, Microsoft includes a PDF reader, at least it came on mine.

I know, but the guy asks for a reader for a Palm when he doesn't even have one so I really don't care if he has to squint away (he did ask for an mp3 player).

I have no idea what unlabeledbz has been talking about.
