[quote94a8106edd="CollidgeGraduit"]I see my team, Detroit, finally pulling an upset and beating Chicago. Most of Chicago's points were made on Green Bay mistakes last week (Chicago was 0-4 in the red zone). Last week, Detroit didn't give up many big plays to the Seahawks, the only I can think of was the 17 yard run to set up the game-winning field goal.

I say Detroit's defense stays on their game, and the offense finally shows some spark under Martz. 24-6 Detroit.[/quote94a8106edd]

And it was stupid how close the Lions were to putting up 40 points. lol

I'm 25, and this is the first time I am just feeling complacent with the Lions. Every year it just seemed like they were just missing one thing. But this year? I understand it will take another year or two for their systems to really get ingrained in Detroit... but I guess I'm tired of the rebuilding years, because we've been rebuilding for the past 50 years.

It's especially to see one 1st round pick traded away, another one just plain cut, a third one inactive, and a 4th one just not producing. Blah!

The Lions are one of the very few teams in the NFC that I like aside from the Eagles. I used to love Barry and since they're never good, I've never started to dislike them.

I think that if they can stick with the current coaching staff, they have a shot in the next 2-3 years. I've seen little sparks of improvement here and there so far this season, and I know it will take time to really get things moving. I'm just so sick of hearing that we're just about to turn the corner.

The fan base in Detroit is amazing. Every game is packed, and the fans are so passionate about the team here. I just hope they finally do something, and SOON.

Nice find. Maybe if I get bored, I'll do a combined stat that measures the fan support combined with the winning percentage.

Da Bearsss took about 15 years (despite some flashes here and there) to get good again so yeah, I know what you're saying. The 90's were horrible for them. Anyway, we'll see how long this lasts... I have always liked the Lions too.
