So my buddy sells monster cable, and he said if I got 20-30 people that wanted to buy this HDMI he could get me a price between 45-50 bucks (shipping included). They are brand new, sealed in original packaging, straight from Monster. This is the exact one here that I found on Ebay..... If you're interested let me know. It is 8 feet in length.

Well, I don't want to threadcrap on your thread hairyferry, but I feel compelled to toss out a warning to members who may not know any better. Those who disagree, feel free to take hairyferry up on his offer.

Monster cables are a total scam. Their cables are no better than any other decent quality cable at much lower prices. For example, Monoprice sells premium quality heavy-duty HDMI cables that are much higher quality than Monster's for a fraction of the price.

Monster is considered a dirty word in most HiFi/AV circles, as they take advantage of gullible consumers not very wise in the way of electrical cables, and are also bullies in their market. They think they own all rights to the word "Monster" even when it has no relation to AV cables. They've sued Monster.com (the job website) and Disney/Pixar over the movie "Monsters, Inc." as well as numerous other unrelated companies that market the word "monster" somewhere in their business.

Again, sorry for perceived threadcrap, but this is a sore subject for me and I hate to see people get taken. No offense intended to you HF or your friend.

I'm looking into getting a Media Centre PC and I have the Dell 32'' W3201CD LCD TV and I was wondering what type of input I should use to hook it up? Below is a link to the technical specs of the TV for reference

http//www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/lcd_w3201c?c=us&cs=555&l=en&s=biz

Also, when I do hook this up to a computer what would the display look like quality-wise? I've hooked up a laptop to a standard CRT TV in the past (just a basic flat screen CRT) and the quality was quite poor, that's not the same on an LCD TV - but will it be crisp and clear given the resolutions it can produce?

Any kind of help would be appreciated. )

I'm with dmorris...Monster Cable sucks. If you want some [i0e757cc538]real[/i0e757cc538] HiFi audio equipment, you should look at Kimber Kable.

As far as HDMI goes....just go with any regular gold-plated run of the meal cable......because you won't see a difference, except in you wallet.
