Napster and my iPod

Ok, well my college gives us free unlimited downloads from Napster. However, the downloads ar tethered so I can only play them on the Napster program. I cant burn discs of them or move them to my iPod. Well I heard there is a program that can get around this and allow me to put them in iTunes and thus on to my iPod. Does anyone know what this program is and how I can get it?

This program is amazing. It works almost instantly which is surprising! I did 15 songs at once (you can do as many at a time as you wish) and it took no more than a few secounds!

Im not quite sure what it is exactly. All I know is that its fast, really fast. I downloaded 15 songs from an album in a matter of seconds.

No, I mean how many kbps does music from Napster have? Downloaded music usually doesn't have great sound quality, but if Napster has good quality maybe I'll give this a try.

its 128kbps stereo. Not bad if you dont want excellent quality, definitely reasonable.

If you aren't used to OiNk downloads, it's very reasonable.

yeah, i don't really care if it is lossless quality audio or just 128. I only see a slight difference personally, but i guess other people are really sensitive about the quality.

nothing lower than 192kb/s constant is even allowed.

Most of the stuff averages at 244 variable or 320kb constant

How can I get an invite?

i know there are 5000 threads about this, but could somebody send me an invite. I hear a lot of posts about people talking about Oink, and just want to check it out. Do they have a lot of albums? And do these torrents make their way onto torrentspy.com like demonoid and a bunch of other "invite only" torrents. I wouldnt mind the extra quality from my 128, i usually just download whatever but nothing under 128.

I know everyone says refer to the other topic but I'll go check mine and see if I can hook you guys up, but remember, you have to maintain a ratio and uploaded like twice as much as you download. My ratio is like 4.-- because I'm so 1337. PM me though.

Sidenote To answer your question about them having a lot of albums, they have about every one you could think of and if they don't have it you can always request it. )

OiNk is pretty private, I kind of got lucky with my invite, someone approached me exactly like I approached you (tylerc). You just have to search the CD's and then figure out the best way to rip them in high quality.
