PS2: Worth Buying?

Would it still be worth buying a PS2, are there any games for it that I absolutely [i8585ec4bc9]must[/i8585ec4bc9] experience?

2.why buy old dvd format why buy hdvd addon for 360 and after that you would spend 5-600?

Xbox and Ps3 are pretty much the same. Ps3 has a tiny bit more power in the cpu but thats more in the physics department. The xbox 360 gpu is a little more powerful than the ps3's.

Although Blue ray holds more data, the loads times are crazy especially with the 2x drive in the ps3 and they are having problems putting the games on more than one layer.

It basically will all come down to games and what each system has to offer. As of now PS3's titles just keep getting weaker. I mean this week they lost exclusivity on Assasians Creed.

This leaves PS3 with what?? Complete shit for the most part other than MSG4. Yes it has Tekken but come on, its the same fucking game since Tekken 2 for psx.

Xbox's lineup is killer with Gears of War, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Halo 3 just to name a few plus developers such as Ubisoft and Capcom have already said how much better they like working with the Xbox 360 hardware. It will take developers 3x more time and $ to max out the ps3 than the 360 because of its new hardware config.

Im not saying who's gonna come out on top but Xbox 360 is a 4 million pound train looking to hit full steam this holiday season and its gonna take a hell of a brick wall to slow it down.

They offer upgrades that are unavailible to other systems for a fee, they don't make you buy them dumbass.

if you ever plan on buying a ps3 then I would hold off on the ps2. ps3 is suposively bc on all of the ps1 and ps2 games. So you could save yourself like $120-140 by not buying the ps2 now.

Thanks, but I was actually going to get one from 123, I have 2 greens on the gaming site and thought I should just finish it (A slim ps2 is only 4) but I think I will just get a PS3 and see how I like it.

i was actually thinking of getting a ps2 just so i can play the final fantasy games. and there is no way in hell i'll be owning a ps3 anytime ever.

For me, it all depends on the ability to play backups. My xbox 360 currently plays backups well...if they mod/hack the ps3 to do the same thing, i'll probably complete a free site for one...wayyyyy after its been released for awhile though.
