I am trying to connect to xbox live on my xbox 360 via my windows based laptop wireless internet connection. Wiring the ethernet cable from my laptop to my 360, and the 360 sharing the wireless internet connection with my laptop. I know this can be done on a regular xbox/laptop and a 360/mac. But could only find instructions for the Mac.
Anyone have a clue how to go about doing this?

share the internet with right clicking on the Wired port in network connections

more complicated than this xbox live isn't recognizing the internet.

yeah nvm i figured it out
I was using a shitty ethernet cable and though I had to change a bunch of settings
