I did the splinter cell hack with my xbox but I want toburn games to it and I heard I need a bigger hard drive as well as some programs to put on the xbox. 1. how do I hook up the xbox to the pc? 2. Where can I find these programs? 3. Someone give me a damn walkthough of how this stuff works?

Im guessing you dont have a modchip installed in your XBOX. Your best bet would be to look at these http//www.xbox-scene.com/xbox-tutorials.php
You will probably need a modchip and a new harddrive. Then you will be able to play "backup" games, like madden 2007 the day it is released )
All of the tutorials are fairly simple and straight foward, I dont think you will have a problem with them. If you do just go to the xbox-scene forums and ask around there.

you dont need a modchip of you did a softmod.

yep, you softmoded your xbox, so no modchip is required. Once you get all the programs loaded, you can send files to your xbox using a FTP client when your both connected to a local network.

you don't NEED a bigger hard drive. That's just if you want to store games and stuff on your hard drive. You can always burn the games to a DVD and play it that way.

if you are only in it for the games and not to store a lot of media (movies, shows) then you should burn the games to DVD. You can still store a game or two with your current hardrive.

You ftp to your xbox via it's ip address (which you can see in the hacked dash)

I found out that my xbox is the older model that doesn't need a modchip so I am gonna softmod it and burn the disk and play it. Do I need a cable to hook it up to my xbox or can I do it by WIFI?

Get an Excutor 2.3b Lite+
Really good chip for the $ and then buy an NEC dvd birner from newegg and your set
Another TIP
Go to EFnet and #xbins... /msg xbins !list
then you'll get your login credentials
There's a bunch of emu's and app's on there for both PC and XBOX...
