same and I think it's cool that a croc didn't get him. Shows that no Croc could take him out.
He was the best, I like Jeff Corwin a lot too.I hate that other guy Austin Stevens though. His show is based on theatrics and fancy camera tricks, and clever editing to make it look like he just jumps down a waterfall and catches an anaconda

I just saw Jeff Corwin about a week and half ago.. (I work at a reputable hotel chain, which is why I saw him).. I didn't say anything to him though, because he seemed like he did not look happy one bit at all... He was very quiet and to himself and the woman (his agent I'm guessing) he was with, was acting like a total bitch.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Walter Mondale... Now, I talked to him.. He's a mellow fellow.

Yeah this sucks. Completely out of the blue.
He was just a TV show personality, he was a good guy too. He had a wife and kids, environmentalist, wildlife activist etc. (
Even though a Stingray's venom isn't usually lethal to humans, it was the fact that the barb pierced his heart that killed him and not the venom.

I'm guessing he's still alive and he faked his death so he could spend more time with his kids or the CIA and/or KGB were behind the "freak accident." Usually the words "freak accident" are a dead-giveaway that some sort of international cell was behind it.

I've always been scared of stingrays regardless of how people say they only sting when threatened.
They are FAST. I was surprised to see one swimming around in this beach I went to in Florida. It was swimming around in the tide super fast and it scared the crap out of me.
I've seen them before snorkeling but never on a beach and never swimming so fast.

Yeah that is a picture of two stingray barbs.
One from one stingray and the other, from another.
The barb is the barb, it is just serrated.

[quote2a0a2be18f="Wikipedia"]Some reports have claimed that after the incident, Irwin was shown on tape pulling the barb out, before losing consciousness, but this was both confirmed and denied by his colleague, John Stainton, in different sources.[/quote2a0a2be18f]

If that barb is still in someone's possession it would probably sell for a shitload on eBay.
