Clearing MS search fields, kazaa fields, and internet search

I used my gf's laptop today and just had a few questions
A.) When i go to the windows start menu and click search it has saved my previous searches. How do i clear these?
B.) In Kazaa, my previous searches are saved in the fileds. Again, how do i clear these? (selecting them in the drop box and hitting the delete button doesnt work for A or B)
C.) After i used firefox or ie and clear the history, cache, saved forms, cookies, and all out of options, is there anyway to trace back what i did?
I didnt use her comp for anything bad, but i was curious if i wanted someone to not know in the future what i should do.

And for FF, Just use that CLEAR ALL button and check the cookies box too..
It clears it all.
Which is why i love firefox.

umm, idk if this works for kazaa, but it does for ares, in the search field, leave it blank and hit the right arrow key....it may be the left, not sure, but like I said, works with ares, idk if it works with anything else
