PCI-E By a mile. Its much newer. Plus PCI-E Cards are cheaper then AGP Equivelents. Go PCI-E. For Video editing make sure to get a good proccessor, Video editing is much more CPU intensive.

and other crap, but the 400 watt PSU that comes with the case isn't powerful enough for a system like I'm building, w/ 2-4 Harddrives, 2 DVD-Burners, MOBO, and fans, so what I'm asking is does anyone have a link to a good 500+ watt PSU, preferably under 75 dollars?

All that costs less than the case, psu, cpu and mobo you were getting and are great.



In fact, a 2 year old cpu, gfx card, mobo and 1gb ram would run most games fine.


For example. I have a 4 year old computer

AMD xp2100+ oced to 2.35ghz
1gb twinmos ch-5 ram
epox 8rda+
evga 6800nu with unlocked vetex and extra pipe


I can play fear, doom 3, call of duty 2 all with relatively high setting with resolution around 1280x920 i think it is, Halo is no where near as demanding as these games.


If you want a good bargain, go to forums.anandtech.com and check out thier for sale forum. People are always selling thier computers cheap that are pretty damn good rigs. Also post in the general hardware area about how much you want to spend and what your looking for. They are some of the best help ever
